1 - I downloaded the file, now what?

If you dwnloaded the file it means that you already have installed th DC Store application and Player.
If the player does not open try download it and install it again.
The first time you use the player it should be certified with the CERTIFICATE you received attached to the Axmedia DC Store e-mail. Please follow the player instructions or refer to the How To Section.

2 - I lost the DC Staff and Axmedia e-mails

If you lost the DC Staff e-mail and you did not confirm the link please Click here to register again.
If you lost the Axmedia DC Store e-mail with the Player Certificate please contact us here with your registered email and password and we'll send you a new certificate or Click here to register again.

3 - What is there inside the file I downloaded?

- CD folder: song files in .WAV format, front and back covers and disk graphics ready to burn.
- DVD folder: disk image .ISO of the DVD, front and back covers and disk graphics ready to burn.
To mount the .ISO Disk Image you can download software like Demon Tool Free Edition* or Magic ISO Maker*
- Book: the .PDF of the book ready for print.

4 - I have a MAC ...

Unfortunately we do not have a Mac Version at the moment even if we're Mac users. We're working on it!!

5 - Interrupted or paused download

If you loose connectio and your download gets interrupted you can just resume it.
This works also if you paused the download.

6 - I do NOT have a Paypal account, can I pay in other ways?

The DC Store is setup to receive payments only via Paypal.
Paypal accepts all major credit cards even if you do not have an account.

7 - What can I sell on DC Store?

You can sell CDs, DVDs and Books in digital format at the moment.
CDs can contain one or more songs and or data (single, EP, full length, etc) and DVDs can contain shorts, full feature and any type of content a DVD or Blue Ray can contain.
If you are a Record Label, a Production Company or an Editor please contact us here.

8 - How long does it take to see my product online for sale?

From the moment in which we receive all the material it will take 3 to 4 weeks to get your product ready to launch.
We will contact you via e-mail when launch date is ready.

9 - Can I modify my product online after Launch Date?

No it is NOT possible.
Since the data il strictly connected with the CD, DVD or Book itself it will NOT be possible to change Artist Name, Title, Item Type and Price.
You can change all other info such as description, bio, contacts and info via your Control Panel.
You can add another Artist or product by registering another Artist Name.

10 - Can I choose my product Price?

Yes you can!
You can choose any price you like but we suggest you to maintain near the minimum DC Store suggested Price of € 5,00 per CD and € 9,00 per DVD.
In this way you will have more chances to sell your product.
We will pay you 50% per decrypted downloaded file of the Price you set, after local taxes.

11 - What should I send DC Store for distribution?

Refer to How To Distribution Section.

12 - Does DC Store accept all content for distribution?

Unfortunately our resources are very limited at the moment so we have to make a selection based on better quality.
But we are growing with you so the more you work with us the largest the catalog can grow.
It is you who makes the DC Store working!!!
Oh ... and we do not accept extreme content, pornography and or offensive or discriminating content.

13 - What is the Fee used for?

It takes a lot of work to get the CD, DVD or Book ready for distribution.
We do really listen and watch all the products we receive and we control the setup of each company, artist and video/product page in order to give out the most complete and accurate information possible. And full quality CDs and DVDs take up loads of server space, so the fee is used to cover the initial production costs.

14 - I am a Label, a Production Company, a Festival or an Editor, what should I do?

If you are a Record Label, a Production Company, a Festival or an Editor please contact us here.
We will create your «Company Account» and be classified in the Record Label, Festival or Production Company catalog.

15 - Is the DC Store Distribution "esclusive"?

No. Our distribution is NON Exclusive.
You retain all the rights, we just sell your digital product, and of course you are free to sell it on any other store available.

16 - Can I remove my product from distribution?

Yes, of course.
Just let us know about it and we'll remove it asap. Since all the production work has been done already, the fee will not be reimbursed.

17 - My CD contains «cover songs», what shall I do?

Every Country and State has different laws about copyright and cover versions.
In most cases is sufficient to pay a little fee to the Editor of the original song, but in some cases you should ask for permission to the official editor - not the Record label -
In Any case please check your local laws about it. It is very important for you and your trenquillity since we are not responsible for Copyright violations.

I thought the software was free. Why am I being asked to pay?

The software is completely free of charge. What you pay goes towards supporting our technical team and paying for the creation of more user guides. If you're unsatisfied, you can always cancel your membership and keep the software.

It really depends on the speed of your connection. With a regular 56.6 Kbps modem, a three megabyte file will take about seven minutes to download. Larger files will take more time to download.

This is due to firewall software on your computer blocking the network traffic. The program cannot connect if your firewall is blocking access. If you have Windows XP, disable the XP firewall in the systems settings in the control panel. To do so, simply follow these directions: 1. Click on the START button (lower left corner of Desktop). Go: Start, Settings, Control Panel. 2. Double-click Networking and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections. 3. Right-click the connection on which you would like to disable the Firewall, and then click Properties. 4. On the Advanced tab, click the box to clear the option to Protect my computer or network. You don't have to completely disable the built-in Windows XP firewall.
